Mary Lougheed

Mary LougheedMary Lougheed was born and raised in lovely Scarborough. Plunked into piano lessons at age four, she decided they weren’t so bad and ended up with a Bachelor of Music from McGill University and an ARCT in piano performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music. She composed an original score for 21 Days: A New Musical, winner of Toronto Fringe 2012 patron’s pick award. Shortly thereafter, she found herself accompanying improv shows at Second City, where she discovered kindred spirits in the members of Highbräu. Her three favourite things in life are ginger beer, Downton Abbey, and playing the mouth trumpet, at which she is exceptionally adept. #MaryLougheed
